Summary:
A super hurricane that reached 20 miles high with winds approaching 700mph. It might have been responsible for wiping out 75 percent of all living things on Earth some 65 million years ago. A volcano unleasing a cloud of gas, ash and debris so impenetrable that the sun's warming rays were unable to reach Earth's surface and may have triggered an ice age. Great Britain may once have been connected to Europe, but was cut off by a violent storm and flood that created the English Channel. Other supersized disasters include a gigantic tsunami and a terrifying comet storm.
