Summary:
The Kilted Generation: How Bagrock Got To The Masses....! The Red Hot Chilli Pipers: Originators of Bagrock...often imitated, never duplicated! The originators of Bagrock return with a blistering new album that defines the genre! In 2002, no one had heard of Bagrock until the Chillis blasted onto the scene! In 2010, it's here to stay and the fans love being part of the Kilted Generation. Since 2002, the band has been setting stages alight across the world (not literally!) and it feels as though they've only stopped to inflate their bagpipes before taking off again! Because of tremendous fan support, the last two albums achieved UK silver with Bagrock To The Masses and Scottish triple platinum with BLAST Live! The Chillis have performed to hundreds of thousands of fans all over the world (and loved every minute of it!). They have been joined on stage by Ewan McGregor, played for Sir Paul McCartney, headlined New York's Tartan Week, opened the Eurovision Dance Contest in front of a TV audience of millions and were one of the first ever Western bands to perform in Saudi Arabia - phew! So far this year, the band has never stopped touring, including, six blistering weeks in Germany and seven weeks, across the USA, where they unleashed some chilli magic and there's plenty more where that came from! And now--the new album! Music for the Kilted Generation features chillified versions of Queen's Radio Ga Ga , The Who's Baba O Reilly, Robbie William's Let Me Entertain You, AC/DC's Long Way to the Top and Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars and much, much more!!!!
