Intent on escaping the clutches of his indomitable Aunt Agatha and the perpetual threat of wedlock, Bertie once again flees his native England for New York accompanied, as ever, by the unflappable Jeeves. Yet even the waters of the Atlantic cannot keep the witless Wooster safe, and he is soon up to his ears in a frightful tangle of wayward cousins, stolen babies, unwanted engagements and even -- heaven forbid -- his domineering aunt.
