Summary:
Follows the lives of an English captive and an Australian POW, who meet in Malaya during WW2. The two are separated first by their Japanese captors and then by the distance of passing years. When they finally reunite in the rugged outback of Australia, they face a new challenge as demanding as their wartime trials.
