Antiquities dealer Alex Benedict, and his assistant, Chase Kolpath, are drawn into danger when they set off to investigate the provenance of a cup that seems to be from the "Seeker," one of two space ships reputed to have transported settlers to the legendary lost colony of Margolis in the twenty-seventh century.
