Summary:
To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, Die Neue Sammlung - The Design Museum publishes, for the first time, its most important Bauhaus objects and sets them in dialog with contemporary art. Five artists have, in discourse with Bauhaus objects they have themselves selected, each developed a piece of their own: fashion designer Ayzit Bostan, author Barbara Köhler, architect Anupama Kundoo, composer Junya Oikawa, and artist Sofie Thorsen.
