A legendary performer and teacher, Lehmann is seen in a series of master classes. In this first volume, Lehmann coaches students in scenes from Der Rosenkavalier and Le nozze di Figaro, and songs of Robert Schumann. In the case of the Marschallin's monologue from Der Rosenkavalier, Lehmann herself enacts the scene by way of demonstration.
