The case studies include one for business (The new plant site), one for academia (The welcome party), and one for nonprofit organizations (CareWorld). The ten kinds of rule cards are categorized as: red (approach to problem solving) ; light blue (listening style) ; green (treatment of or approach to difference) ; white (attitudes regarding teamwork) ; yellow (beliefs about leadership) ; pink (customs regarding space and touch) ; orange (gestures and eye contact) ; beige (time orientation) ; gray (explanation or speaking style) ; lavender (past/present/future orientation).
Summary:
The experiential learning tool or simulation provides participants with an opportunity to engage in decision making and problem solving in several contexts: a majority-minority situation, an evenly balanced joint venture situation, and a multicultural situation.
