Limited edition of 170 copies for sale. Copies numbered I-XX: with a set of 27 editioned prints, in a special binding by James Brockman, in a drop-back box. Copies numbered 1-150: bound in quarter leather by John Sewell, in a slipcase. Both bindings designed by the artist. Front and back inner cover papers made from double-page coloured woodcuts. Text and marginal notes. "This book, designed by Robert Meyrick, has been printed by David Vickers on Velin Arches 160 gsm pure cotton mould-made paper using a Heidelberg cylinder press. Rigby Graham's woodcuts were printed from the blocks using inks specially formulated by Cranfield Colours of Cwmbran. A further seven blocks were made available separately as prints. Monotype Baskerville Series 169 has been used throughout the book: title pages and chapter opneings hand-set in 18, 24 and 36 point, the text pages cast in 8 and 14 point from spools produced at Speedspools by Harry McIntosh.
