May sets out on the 41st Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race as excited as only a good sled dog could be with 1,049 miles of trail and adventure waiting ahead. Then an unexpected mishap leaves the little Iditarod sled dog lost in the wilds of Alaska hundreds of miles from home, and she doesn't know quite how to carry on alone. Not particularly wise, brave, or big, May will somehow have to find her way and it will take all her fortitude to do so.
