By his 31st birthday, David Servan-Schreiber was already an accomplished man: neuroscientist, founder of Doctors Without Borders, published author, and sought-after lecturer. But the discovery of a brain tumor forced David to re-examine his values and beliefs. Previously a supporter of Western medicine, he began to explore the balance between traditional and alternative approaches to health care. Here David shares his experience and the lessons learned.
