"Forty copies of Sphenoid were printed on Vandercook presses from hand set Bembo types. The title page was printed on Frankfurt paper from a photopolymer plate created from a digital scan of the facsimile edition of Vesalius' On the Fabric of the Human Body. The text paper is Nideggan, and the cover paper is heavyweight Fabriano Ingres in olive. In the fall of 2005 Amy Hutchinson designed and produced the book with much assistance from the authors at the University of Iowa Center for the Book, where lines between poets, printers, and binders begin to blur." Library copy is number 37. IaU
