Scream (1996) : Hold the phone! Its the original Wes Craven / Kevin Williamson smash hit that transformed the horror genre into a phenomenon. Scream introduced us to an offbeat group of friends from the small town of Woodsboro who are being murdered one by one by a maniac wearing a ghost mask. Scream 2 (1997) : Two years after the gruesome Woodsboro murders Sidney Prescott is enjoying a new life, a new boyfriend and new friends as a student at heavenly Windsor College. But that was before the opening night of Stab, the movie account of the horrific slayings at Woodsboro, based on the best selling book by tough-talking reporter Gail Weathers. Now a copycat killer is on the rampage and wants Sidney dead, again. As the body count rises, the pressure becomes unbearable. No one is safe and everyone is suspect. Scream 3 (2000) : Sidney Prescott has literally disappeared off the face of the earth hiding from the world and the whole haunted, blood-stained legacy that is Woodsboro. But thats all about to change. A new slasher flick based on Sidneys horrific story is being shot in L.A. called Stab 3. And one by one, the cast of Stab 3 are taking their final curtain call. Someone is mimicking the horrific murders of the first two Scream filmsonly this time, even the leads are dying. Scre4m (2011) : Sidney Prescott, now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey and Gale, who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill and her Aunt Kate. Unfortunately Sidney's appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.
