Summary:
Miyeko Matsuda arrives in the U.S. ten years after the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima to have plastic surgery for radiation burns, and is warmly welcomed by her host family, the Bennetts, with the exception of their oldest son, Johnny, who suspects Miyeko might be a spy.
