Summary:
When despair reaches its peak, Aida starts to satisfy her desires in the arms of one of the young men sent to her by Victoria, her companion and tailor. On nights of a full moon, she is haunted by a recurring nightmare where she sees herself as a witch who destroys the sensitivity of her lovers. When Aida loses her will to live, and loses hope of salvation, she chooses to purify herself with iron, fire and water.
