Summary:
Mulder and Scully find themselves targets of a spy plot from inside the FBI, all while Scully's cancer rages. The origin of TV's most beloved conspiracy theorists, The Lone Gunmen, is revealed, and Scully's maternal instincts come into play. Although Mulder begins to question his own belief in extraterrestrial life, he and Scully face extraordinary paranormal phenomena, including vampires.
