"Le Prix AICA France de la critique d'art a été décerné en 2014 au critique Marc Lenot - auteur du blog sur l'art contemporain "Lunettes Rouges" publié par Le Monde - pour sa présentation du travail de l'artiste franco-équatorienne Estefania Pehafiel Loaiza ; il a donné lieu à une exposition au printemps 2015 au Centre photographique d'Île-de-France : "fragments liminaires". Toute l'oeuvre de cette jeune artiste dans ses divers médiums et modes d'expression témoigne d'une grande cohérence, comme si chacune de ses pièces était le fragment d'une oeuvre globale, dont on ne voit encore que les débuts, le liminaire. Il y est question de visibilité et d'absence, d'histoire et de mémoire, de déplacement et de territoire, toujours avec une remarquable économie de moyens. The AICA France art criticism prize was awarded in 2014 to the art critic Marc Lenot, author of "Lunettes Rouges," a blog on contemporary art published by Le Monde. He was chosen for his presentation of the work of the French-Ecuadorian artist Estefanfa Pehafiel Loaiza. As a result, an exhibition was held in spring 2015 at the Centre photographique d'Île-de-France: "fragments liminaires" ("preliminary fragments"). All the work of this young artist, in all its media and modes of expression, demonstrates a strong coherency, as if each and every one of her pieces were the fragment of a global work, of which one sees only the beginnings, the preliminaries. It is a work about visibility and absence, about history and memory, about moves and territories, always with a striking economy of means."--Page 4 of cover.
