Summary:
"Antonio Martins (Marco Ricca) is a theater critic who has gained a reputation for his incisive analytical style and his keen logical sense. Antonio is the sort of man who feels the need to work out his perceptions and opinions about everything around him, but he's thrown for a loop when he meets Inês (Lilian Taublib), an earthy but attractive artist's model who has only one leg. Inês also has a relationship with artist Jose (Felipe Ehrenberg) that encompasses both the professional and the physical, though she's willing to spend time with Antonio as well. It takes a while for Antonio to come to terms with his feelings for Inês, and when he does, he responds with an aggressive erotic act that he interprets as a passionate expression of love, but she regards as sexual assault. Inês goes to the police and files charges against Antonio, who must now explain his actions and emotions in court."--All Movie Guide.
