Summary:
The first of a trilogy. Set in contemporary Moscow, the Night Watch patrols and protects the city against the forces of darkness. The Night Watch consists of superhumans, known as the Others. These redoubtable characters enforce an ancient truce between light and dark. Both sides live with the fear that an Other will rise up and tip the delicate balance between the two sides. This would be disastrous for earth.
