Summary:
Inspired by the work of Cervantes, Sam DuChamp, a mediocre writer of spy thrillers, creates the character of Quixote, a polite and old-fashioned salesman who lives obsessed with television and who is platonically in love with a star of the small screen. Along with his (imaginary) son Sancho, Quixote embarks on an adventure across the United States to prove himself worthy of the hand of his maiden, bravely confronting the dangers of a time when anything from cyberspies can happen. Russians to racism and even the threat of the end of the world.
