Summary:
Examination of contemporary Kurdish politics in Syria concentrating on the Syrian-Kurdish political parties which operate illegally in the country. Looks at their increasing cohesion and effectiveness since the Syrian uprising and explores issues of minority identity and the concept of being 'stateless' in the Middle East.
