Summary:
High school senior Michael is not thrilled about his family's move to New Hope, a small southern town. He is even more put off when he joins his new school's basketball team and butts heads with star player Lucas. Lucas believes Michael is benefiting from all that his deceased brother Chase--who committed suicide--left behind. Tension between Michael and Lucas builds further when Michael becomes fascinated with Chase's girlfriend.
