Summary:
The proposed project consists of constructing an Interstate 35 (I-35) interchange at or near NE 36th Street in Ankeny, Iowa. Most of the project is located in the northeast portion of the City of Ankeny but small portions are also located in unincorporated Polk County. The project area includes the I-35 corridor beginning at the existing Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) rest area, approximately 1.5 miles north of NE 36th Street.
