Summary:
Ice age: Twenty thousand years ago, at the dawn of the ice age, Sid the sloth, Manfred the woolly mammoth, and Diego the sabretooth tiger try to reunite a human baby with its migrating tribe. Ice age, the meltdown: After settling down in an isolated valley with other animal packs, Sid, Manny, and Diego leave the valley and their new friends after the ice wall surrounding the valley begins to melt. With their one chance of survival being a boat at the other end of the valley, the trio make a desperate exodus there. Along the way, they meet Ellie, a female mammoth and learn to get along.
