Summary:
In 1863, the beautiful younger daughter of world-famous author Victor Hugo crosses the Atlantic in desperate pursuit of the man she believed to be her fiance, her lover, her destiny, the mirror of her soul. For months and years she waits for him, harrasses him, throws herself in his path. Finally, her intensity gives way to madness.
