Summary:
Elderly multimillionaire Andrew Jakes is brutally murdered in his ransacked Hollywood home. His young wife is raped and beaten, and his art and jewels are stolen. But when the investigation doesn't turn up a single solid lead, it is moved to the cold files and the stunning young widow vanishes. A decade later, Jakes' estranged son begins digging into his father's murder and makes some discoveries. Three killings, nearly identical to his father's, in each case the widow donated her wealth.
