Summary:
A newly-married office clerk, due to his wife being unable to leaver her job in Prague and he being unable to get a transfer, embarks on a commuter marriage until he discovers his wife is having an affair with the company manager. This leads him to seriously contemplate double murder, suicide and blackmail, and ends up finding a situation in which he, his wife and her lover can live happily ever after.
