Summary:
Pushpa a simple village girl turned out by her husband as she could not give him a child. A man takes her to Calcutta for a job and where she was cheated by him and forced to take shelter in a brothel. Anand, a rich man negalected by his wife while walking throught a red-light neighbourhood, hears a song and is allured by the melodious voice. He met Pushpa and eventually they fall in love. Meanwhile Nandu a child met Pushpa. Amar Prem is the story of three beautiful souls who encounter each other and bound by wonderful emotions and eternal love.
