Summary:
In Birmingham in December 1955, Rosa Parks is arrested when she refuses to vacate her bus seat for a white man. Black citizens mount a boycott of the bus system in protest, giving birth to the modern civil rights movement and bringing to fame the young minister Martin Luther King, Jr.
