Summary:
In Too much birthday, is there such a thing as too much birthday? Poor Sister is overwhelmed by her big, noisy sixth-birthday party. Her sympathetic parents help her realize the true importance of having a birthday in this humorous exercise in moderation for cubs--and parents. In Play ball, when springtime comes to Bear Country, Papa Bear wants to turn Brother Bear into a star baseball player. But Brother Bear just wants to have fun! In Save the bees, Raffish Ralph is chosen by Arch Weasel to create an ultimate weapon to take down Bear Country. They unleash a field of menacing honey bell flowers that threaten Bear Country's supply of honey, by engulfing all bees. In Go fly a kite, Papa Bear makes such a big kite for the kite flying contest that it carries him away and into a hang-gliding contest. In Get stage fright, given the lead role in the school play, Sister Bear is sure she'll forget her lines. Despite Brother's teasing, she follows Mama's advice and practices until she's perfect. On the night of the performance, it's Brother who ends up with stage fright and who is rescued by his sympathetic sister.
