Text printed in blue ink with illustration and advertisments printed in black ink. On front cover: Two illustrations of medals with text "Exption d'hygiene 1888" and "exp. Universelle 1889" printed underneath; in red banner beneath "Medailles d'or" = Gold medals. Showing that this product won two gold medals for excellence at two different expostions, or conferences, in 1888 and 1889. Back cover: Includes notice printed on back cover for the public, warning them that there's counterfeits being sold, and the "real" paper has the inventor A. Ponsot's signature stamped on each piece of paper. "Direction for use: Tear off one strip of a leaf of this paper, light it carefully avoiding to produce a falme, for it must burn slowly.... Armenian Paper, a powerful anti-septic, purifies the air in the houses, bed-rooms, or when travelling, in the hotel-rooms which have often been corrupted by the sojourn of more of less healthy persons."
