A 85 years after his death, the legend of Pancho Villa still resonates in his old haunts. Bandit hero, feared and loved, left a trail of stories, anecdotes, legends and half-truths through northern Mexico and southern United States. Writer Paco Ignacio Tailbo leads a tour though Zacatecas, Durango and Chihuahua, and even New Mexico and the U.S., which features testimonials from people in these areas. The film is about the sites on which Villa fought its major battles, while it presents fragments of daily life of the figure who today is one of the most important and controversial of Latin American history.
