Summary:
"Introduce your readers to the Ferrari, which has received numerous accolades for design and performance, both as race cars and luxury automobiles. Enzo Ferrari worked for Alfa Romeo, but left the company in 1939 to begin his own automobile company. Ferrari's main goal was to create an automobile capable of beating Alfa Romeo in a car of his creation. He opened Auto Avio Costruzioni in Modena, Italy, in 1939. In 1947, Ferrari took a V12, known today as the 125 S, out for it's first test drive. Ferraris have shined on the racing circuit and Enzo Ferrari was awarded for his devotion for adding to Italy's international reputation after World War II." -- Provided by publisher
