Summary:
Ted Lawson is a cybernetics engineer who invents a robot and must try and pass her off as a real child to the neighbors. It's easy for Ted's wife Joan, who can't help doting on her like a daughter, but harder for their precocious son Jamie, who uses Vicki to do his homework and to ward off Harriet, the annoying redheaded girl next door.
