Summary:
Elizabeth Garst, widow of Roswell Garst, talks about her first visit to Coon Rapids, Iowa, their first house, and living for a few years in Des Moines. She also recounts the visit Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev and his wife Nina made to their farm in 1959. Includes extensive footage of Khrushchev's visit. Film is interspersed with scenes of Roswell Garst (filmed ca. 1940s) extolling the advantages of hybrid corn.
