Twin sisters Erica and Heather give birth within weeks of each other and the children, Sarah and David, become best friends, but when David is killed in an accident, Sarah begins talking to him in Heaven and Erica becomes increasingly alarmed when she realizes her sister is encouraging Sarah's obsession with the dead child.
