Merry is bubbly, outgoing, and optimistic. Mally is thoughtful, solitary, and independent. The twins think of themselves as one. They dream the same dreams, experience the same emotions, and even share a language nobody else can understand. Then, on their thirteenth birthday, a mysterious fire nearly kills them both. Suddenly they begin having strange visions - different visions - and the bond between them begins to unravel.
