Drawing on her own experiences, the author has written a book to help teachers more successfully manage the frustration of feeling overwhelmed. Written in an informal, conversational tone, Practicing Presence is filled with ideas, exercises, checklists, personal anecdotes, and practices which can be used to reframe and establish a mind-set that will enhance the reader's focus and engagement in the classroom.
