Los bostezos, los piojos y hasta los malos hábitos son contagiosos. Eso quiere decir que se pasan de una persona a otra como un balón en un partido de fútbol. Así también pasa con la risa. ¿Se han fijado? No podemos negar que nuestra mamá tiene algo de razón cuando nos recomienda salir al mundo con buena cara. En general una sonrisa se devuelve con otra y a medida que se van acumulando hacen un poco más ligera la vida. ¿Y qué tal cuando oímos una carcajada? De entrada, es una promesa de que pronto vamos a enterarnos de alguna historia que nos va a hacer saltar la barriga, dar de patadas en el piso y tal vez, hasta soltar unas lagrimitas, pero de la risa. Algo así les pasa a los habitantes de este libro. Yawns, lice, and even bad habits are contagious, which means that they are passed from one person to another like a ball in a soccer match. Same thing happens with laughter. Have you noticed? I guess our mothers were right by telling us to put on a happy face. In most cases, a smile is always reciprocated, making life a little brighter. And how about when we hear someone laugh? For starters, it's a sign that we'll soon hear a story that'll make us belly laugh, stomp on the floor, and maybe, shed a few tears. Something like that happens to the people in this book.
