The various flowers - the yellow chrysanthemum (tranquil), red plum blossom (noble), green orchid (ethereal), white lotus (pure) and the rose (fragrant) exist in the world, emitting their own colurs serenely, seamlessly and quietly, and becoming one with the universe - each an individual with a spiritual core. The seasonal cycle (the ups and downs of life) is portrayed through theatrical lighting. On the vast stage, the rippling flowery imageries of the interweaving musicians, singers, poetic visions, ink colours and light and shadows are transformed into an exquisite and exuberant chorus of the universe"--Container
