" ... Is based on the day to day lives of the people of Eldorado Park captures and addresses these challenges that the community and future generations face. It also provides a mirror for South Africans, beyond the geographic location of Eldorado Park and the demographic element of being so called "Colored" but for all people in a country infested with crime and the related ills to reflect and make a change for the better. The cast and crew are born and raised in Eldorado Park, which in itself is a reflection of the fact that some measure of optimism and potential that is to be unearthed in a seemingly negative or hopeless environment. Imprisonment, violence and other social ills are rife and all of these elements contribute to their negative outlook on life. The film's objective is to portray the characters' hardships growing up in the ghetto while at the same time trying to give hope in a place of despair"--Container.
