Summary:
A nursery rhyme program that incorporates books, music, movement, art, ritual, repetition, nurturing, and play. Very young children learn social behavior, vocabulary words, and phonemic awareness. Caregivers and parents learn how to help build these skills through nursery rhyme activities. Promotes reading readiness. Also incorporates the principles of Barbara Cass-Beggs' "Listen, like, learn" approach into traditional library programs for children.
