"River (2015) A poem by Jay Leeming 5 3/4 by 11 1/2 by 1 1/2 inches. This book features a 4-panel panorama water color painting of Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park accompanied by a poem written by the poet-ranger Jay Leeming. Donna did the art work and made the binding. Peter made the paper. The book is comprised of 6 folding panels that are piano hinged together using brown leather and green painted dowels. The binding panels have a bas-relief image of mountains covered by blue silk cloth on one side. The other side has digital reproductions of Donna's original watercolor paintings (printed on white Peter's hand made paper) sewn to a green sheet of paper (Peter's handmade) which has the text hand written on it in a calligraphic manner. Both are glued to the verso of the cover boards. The book is housed in a cloth covered slipcase with a title and bas-relief on the front.
