In the harsh conditions of the Sonoran desert, two men are brought together by what seems to be fate. The younger of the two, a lone gold prospector by the name Robert burton, known as Cameron, had a wild fling with the older man's daughter Nell. Jonas Warren is looking for his daughter, pregnant with Burton's child. After some disagreement, the two men reconcile, and Warren learns Burton married his daughter. They find gold, and unfortunately, succumb to a sandstorm but not before Burton leaves the discovery to Nell in a note.
