Summary:

American, British and Canadian troops from a fleet of 4,000 ships valiantly storm the beaches launching an offensive against Hitler's Atlantic wall. The invasion marks the beginning of the end of World War II. The liberation of Paris: August 25, 1944. Nazis desperately try to hold on, but acknowledge defeat.
