Summary:
Becoming Jane: When the dashing Tom Lefroy enters Jane Austen's life, he offends the emerging writer's sense and sensibility. Soon their clashing egos set off sparks that ignite a passionate romance. Jane Eyre: Jane Eyre's will to overcome a life of hardship leads her into a passionate romance with a handsome, yet mysterious, gentleman. Swept up in the possibility of a happy new life, Jane is shattered when terrible secrets from his past are revealed, threatening to tear her and her lover apart forever. Basquiat: Basquiat was an antisocial street bum when he became part of Andy Warhol's art scene, but his rise from talented tagger to celebrated artist ended in the loss of friendship, love and, eventually, life. St. Ives: Imprisoned in a Scottish prisoner of war camp during the Napoleonic wars, a French captain falls in love with a beautiful woman, befriends the camp's British major, and discovers his long lost grandfather living nearby.
