Summary:
Crusading publisher Britt Reid is concerned about a crime wave that treatens to engulf his city. He decides to aid an ineffectual police force by disguising himself and going after the criminals on his own. As the Green Hornet, Reid tackles the bad guys and discovers that all the criminal enterprises are masterminded by one man. Aided by his servant, Kato, the Hornet becomes a familiar nocturnal presence as he races his souped-up auto, Black Beauty, through the darkened streets in his never-ending effort to defeat crime.
