Summary:
Doña Bárbara, feared for her witchcraft, becomes involved in a land dispute with Santos Luzardo, a lawyer who has come to take charge of his property. Both she and her daughter fall in love with the lawyer in this film reflecting the conflict between civilization and primitivism.
