Summary:
American visa: A Bolivian professor dreams of reuniting with his son and starting a new life in the United States. His plans are seemingly ruined when his visa application is rejected due to the stricter policies implemented in the post 9/11 aftermath. Desperate to reunite with his son, he resorts to questionable measures to overcome the bureaucracy and corruption standing in his way. His diligent efforts to escape to the U.S. are soon complicated, when he falls for a beautiful dancer who offers new reasons for him to remain in Bolivia.
