Jo March has always loved writing. Shes entertained her three sistersMeg, the oldest; then Beth; and Amy, the youngestwith made-up stories for years. But when eight grade starts, Jo knows its time to get serious about her craft. She does start a blog, but is anyone even reading it? So when Freddie, a girl on the school newspaper, asks her to join, Jo know its the perfect chance to see if she has what it takes. But even with Freddie cheering her on, this world proves to be a whole lot harder than she imagined. Thats not all thats tough .With March sisters dad deployed overseas, their mom is working overtime to keep things running smoothly. And while it helps to have a new friend in Laurie, the boy who just moved in next door, things get complicated when he tells Jo he has feelings for her. Feelings that Jo doesnt have for him & or for any boy. Feelings that Jo thinks she might have for Freddie.
